Us in the cave |
 |
All of the girls in front of our hotel sign |
We went to Chiang Dao for the weekend. Chiang Dao is famous because it has a Cave-Wat and a Elephant park. We drove to Chiang Dao, the ride was up and down, left to right. These are some of the things we did through out the weekend.

Us on elephants for my moms belated birthday present |
For the first picture this is me, Nit and New. Nit might look familiar because she is from "a girl and a best friend". New is the other girl mentioned in that post. The cave we are in is called Chiang Dao Cave. This cave is F-A-M-O-U-S, people from all over the world come to see this Cave-Wat. It was little creepy because it was dark and even though we had a guide we didn't know where she was taking us. Unfortunately the guide did not speak our language so we really have no information about the cave. The only information I got was from a book my mom read.

Aunt Kathy
HI Aunt Kathy,
DeleteNo it not that long, it's just about 30 minuets to 45 minuets.
Love, Joji
Wow that sounds like so much fun especially the riding an elaphat part.
ReplyDeleteHI Clair,
Deleteriding the elephants were really cool, plus watching them paint!
Joji
Every time I tell Zoe about your blog post or your parent's posts, Zoe says, "Did she ride an elephant?". Now I can say Yes!! They are asian elephants with smaller ears right?
ReplyDeleteHi Judy,
Deletethe elephants that are in Thailand are smaller than elephants in Africa.... so that would be yes.
Joji
I'm so jealous that you got to ride an elephant! I love elephants!
ReplyDeleteHi Suzi,
DeleteAt first i thought that they were stinky and yucky, but after i rode one and saw a show( one painted a picture ) i instantly i fell in LOVE with them.
Joji
Hey Joji! How are you? Uncle Steve and I hope you had fun this week.
DeleteHi Joji,
ReplyDeleteWhat is new and exciting? What did you do last week? Bella says "hi".
Mike
Hi Mike,
DeleteSay "hi" to Bella for me. We found a place to play badminton. I am just learning but I like it. We found a pool in Phrao last weekend and went swimming. It was really cold.
Thanks,
Joji
Joji-
ReplyDeleteLooks like quite an adventure! Can you bring back an elephant and we can keep it in Menontomy Rocks park? It can play with all the dogs! No snow here, the pond froze 2x but just for a few days. Lia and Isabella have even walked to school a few times it has been so warm!
Happy Valentine's Day! Are you doing anything special to celebrate it over there?
The Drays
Hi Isabella, Jackson, Elizabeth and Stephen,
DeleteI wish I could bring an elephant back but it would not fit in my luggage. I am happy to hear Isabella and Lia are able to walk to school. It is really hot here. It is becoming the hot season.
For Valentine's Day I gave out cards to the people who work at Warm Heart. And at night we went to dinner at a workers house and had sushi.
Hope everything is fine at home,
Joji
Looks like you are having so much fun in Thailand Joji! Can't wait to see you when you get back!
ReplyDeleteLove your favorite cousin,
Krista
