These are our Spring rolls before we deep fried them |

This is a dish called Khao Soi |
These pictures are all from a cooking class we took in Chiang Mai. I really liked getting to use a wok and cook some of the yummy food myself. We used some very interesting ingredients such as, galanga (Thai ginger), turmeric root and kaffir, a lumpy lime. I even got to make curry paste from scratch. My mom and I have learned to say, mai pet (not spicy)
Joji,
ReplyDeleteI hope you're enjoying yourself. Are you go to cook for us when you get back?
Uncle David
I'm with Uncle David and hope you cook for us when you come back. I'll order the friend spring rolls and some curry.....
ReplyDeleteYou're going to make Maya P. jealous with all these cooking photos. She's into cooking and food like her Mom. I think she has checked out all the cookbooks from the Brackett Library. I wonder if I showed her the fiction series called Dish; books about sisters cooking.
ReplyDeleteHi Joji. Looks great! I hope you'll teach us to make something when you get home! - Suzi, Ken, Allegra & Harvey
